Hotel Alla Salute is a budget hotel centrally located in one of the most suggestive areas of Venice, the east side of Dorsoduro, near the Basilica of Madonna della Salute and 10 minutes away from Saint Mark’s Square by taking the water boat.

From Hotel alla Salute you can easily walk to the Peggy Guggenheim Museum, to the “Accademia delle Belle Arti” (venice Accademia Galleries) to the “Punta della Dogana” Contemporary Art Pinault Museum, as well as to St. Marc Square (Piazza San Marco). Also Rialto Bridge is easily reachable either by walking or by water bus..

The Hotel Salute has 56 bedrooms and it faces the Fondamenta Ca’ Balà,  a small & characteristic Canal a few steps from Canal Grande.

A few steps from the Hotel is the water ACTV bus stop. In 5 minutes it is possible to reach the Gallerie dell’Accademia, Piazza San Marco, the Teatro La Fenice and Ca’ Rezzonico – the 18th century Venetian museum. Piazza San Marco can also be reached by gondola: the ferry that goes to the other side of the Grand Canal is very close to the Hotel and costs only 50 centimes!

The good location in Dorsoduro district make it easy to reach also the Fondamenta delle Zattere, a romantic walking  route celebrated by the Russian writer Josif Brodskij in “La fondamenta degli incurabili”.
