The Collegium Ducale Orchestra in Venice consists in a gathering of professional musicians coming from the best orchestras of the Veneto region.  The complex is capable of performing a repertoire ranging from the Baroque (including Vivaldi Masterpieces) to the twentieth century period. The association also conducts researches and studies of treatises on musical practice in order to offer the public execution of works in the spirit of interpretation of the  time. The orchestra is performing in Venice Italy from 1993 for the important concert mission entitled “Venice and Europe: Music beyond History “.

Collegium Ducale 2011 Program

From January to May and in December it takes place in the remarkable atmosphere of Palazzo delle Prigioni, directly at Piazza San Marco. Concerts from May to december take place in the church “Chiesa di S.Maria Formosa”, Rialto.
